Below are some of the projects I am researching, including articles I have completed and have not yet been published. As any researcher can attest, I can not guarantee that all of these will turn into a completed project.

Boosterism and Civic Pride in Atlanta: Union Station and the Dixie Terminal, 1925 – 1930
In the 1920s and 1930s, Atlanta civic leaders pushed to replace the aging Union Station downtown. A new station and 17-story “Dixie Terminal Building” skyscraper were proposed in its place. While the station was built, the Dixie Terminal never got off the ground.

Bull Moose Georgia
After the contentious 1912 convention, the GOP split into two separate parties: the Republicans (backing William Howard Taft) and the Progressives (backing Theodore Roosevelt), also called the Bull Mooses. I have been looking into the Progressive Party’s leaders and polling in Georgia in both the 1912 and 1916 election.
