Last week, I went to Savannah as part of the Cities as Text program of KSU’s Journey Honors College. We stayed at a hotel on Bay Street and walked on foot across the entire historic district. During the trip, I visited all 24 of the city’s historic squares, including two destroyed in the 1930s.
While on the trip, I took countless photos of the historic city. The link below is to an exhibit I have put together that places these photos side-by-side with vintage images from my collection showing Savannah.
There were many incredible sites in Savannah that I photographed, but did not have a representative before photo in my collection. In the future, I plan to share more of these photos on my Peach State Past page.
